Hampton WaterSports Store Policy

Use of kiteboarding, windsurfing or other equipment sold by Hampton WaterSports requires safety training. When purchasing any equipment and/or product from our site or store you assume all responsibility for any damage/injury that may result from using this equipment and/or product in any way.

Hampton WaterSports assumes no liability for the use of any equipment and/or product purchased, and by purchasing this equipment and/or product from our store/Web site you understand, acknowledge and accept this release of liability.

Our Promise

  Hampton WaterSports is a “full service” store. In other words, we won’t hide behind our Web presence, but rather we’re a local store that happens to also have a web store. So… if you don’t see what you need, are not sure which products work well together, or any other question, just drop us a line or call us (1-631-283-9463) and we’ll work out what the best solution is for you.
   
Thirty-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

 

All products purchased from Hampton WaterSports carry a thirty-day satisfaction guarantee from the date of the purchase invoice. If you are dissatisfied, in any way, with a product purchased from Hampton WaterSports, we will issue you a store credit equivalent to the purchase price of the product. This product must be returned to Hampton WaterSports, at your expense, in the same condition in which it was purchased prior to any store credit being issued.

Return Policy

 

Hampton WaterSports guarantees its customers’ satisfaction. You will receive store credit equivalent to 100% of the purchase price of unused, undamaged product purchased from Hampton WaterSports and returned within thirty (30) days from the date of purchase. All sales are final after thirty (30) days. You are responsible for shipping charges for returned product. All returned merchandise must bear a Return Authorization Number (R.A. #) on the outside of the package and on the invoice. Returns without R.A. numbers will not be accepted. Please contact the Shipping Department for a R.A. number at 631-283-WIND.

Back Orders

  If an item that you ordered is temporarily out of stock, it will be back ordered. Backordered items will be shipped as soon as they become available. Items on backorder will not be charged to your account until they are shipped.
   
Raincheck Policy

  All lessons and camps are pre-paid upon booking with Hampton WaterSports to assure a time slot and the availability of a coach and equipment. In the event of a postponement or cancellation, your lesson or camp will be rescheduled to the next available lesson or camp. If a lesson or camp is cancelled due to weather, you will be issued a raincheck equivalent to the value of the lesson or camp booked, which will be valid for one (1) year from the date of the rainchecked lesson or camp. The full value of a raincheck may be redeemed for lessons, camps, equipment and/or merchandise purchased from Hampton WaterSports. If you fail to show up at the time of your scheduled lesson or camp, or fail to call to postpone your scheduled lesson or camp, you will forfeit the value of your lesson or camp and will not receive a raincheck. If you fail to show up on time for your scheduled lesson or camp, the amount of time you are late will be deducted from the total lesson or camp time.
   
Cancellation Policy

  All lessons and camps may be cancelled or rescheduled, with a complete store credit refund, up to seven (7) days before the scheduled lesson or camp time. A rescheduling fee of $100.00 will be assessed for any lessons or camps cancelled or rescheduled within seven (7) days of the scheduled lesson or camp start time, and the remaining balance will be placed on your store account. If your lesson or camp is cancelled by Windsurfing Hamptons, you will receive a raincheck equivalent to the value of the lesson or camp booked. NO REFUNDS – STORE CREDIT ONLY.
   
International Orders

  Duties and taxes associated with shipping to your country may increase the cost of your order. You are responsible for paying all import tariffs, duties, taxes, brokerage fees and any other costs related to delivering product to you; these costs are in addition to the cost of your order. Windsurfing Hamptons recommends that you check all fees, practices and local import tariffs prior to placing your order. You are responsible for return freight charges should you refuse delivery of any product, or if any product is unable to be delivered to you.
   
Warranty

  To inquire whether damage to windsurfing and/or kiteboarding gear that you purchased from Hampton WaterSports is covered by a manufacturer’s warranty, please contact us at 631 283-WIND. In most instances, you will be required to send a digital photo of the damaged gear and certain information, including a description of the damage, how the damage occurred and the product’s serial number, to the Warranty Department. All merchandise returned for warranty replacement or repairs must bear a Return Authorization Number (R.A. #), which the Warranty Department will issue you, on the outside of the package and on the invoice. Warranty returns without R.A. #s will not be accepted. You are responsible for shipping charges for returned product.
   
Accuracy Policy

  Obviously we strive to be completely accurate in everything that we display on this web site. However, occasionally we will goof and could potentially have a web issue that results in inaccurate pricing being displayed, and so forth. In these rare instances, Hampton WaterSports reserves the right to correct pricing or other inaccurate information and is under no obligation to sell the item chosen for an inaccurate price. In these cases, we will contact you directly to highlight the issue.
